Profile

Touseer is an Architect based in Pinner, London. A graduate of the Welsh School of Architecture, he completed both his BSc(Hons) in Architecture and his BArch before joining international AJ100 practice TP Bennett. After gaining experience in practice, he completed his professional studies, gaining his Postgraduate Diploma (DipArch) and membership of the Royal Institute of Bristish Architects (RIBA).

As a Senior Architect at RIBA award winning practice Belsize Architects he was responsible for designing, detailing and delivering beautifully crafted, contemporary homes.

During his time at two of the country’s leading building conservation firms, Caroe & Partners and subsequently Caroe Architecture, Touseer acquired a wealth of knowledge in utilising traditional materials and craftsmanship in construction. He also honed his skills in working with historic buildings, further enhancing his expertise.

Touseer is included on the register of Architects Accredited in Building Conservation (AABC) in recognition of his experience and expertise in undertaking sensitive repairs and alterations to historic buildings of national significance. He has been Project Architect and Lead Consultant on projects for the National Trust, English Heritage, Historic Royal Palaces, The Georgian Group, Palace of Westminster, St Pauls Cathedral and more.

He qualified as a Certified European Passivhaus Designer (CEPH) after completing a course and exam delivered by the University of Strathclyde (Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering) at the BRE Centre of Excellence. Passivhaus is the world’s leading international low energy design standard, adopting a fabric first approach to building. It is a highly innovative and effective way of reducing energy use, as well as providing high standards of comfort and building health.

Touseer is a Quinquennial Inspector for the Diocese of London undertaking inspections to establish priorities for the repair and preservation of their historic buildings.
